I just read an article on yahoo that talks about how flag displaying is at an all time low since 9/11. It made me wonder how many people will actually display a flag on the 4th of July.
I know I will. I 100% proud to be American. My house has two flags displayed in the front right now; a US flag and a USMC flag. I think it's important for Americans to show patriotism, especially on July 4th. What are your thoughts?

Definitely a flag, since I'm an American and it's "our" holiday!
Also, my father died in Vietnam, so patriotic symbolism is especially important in our family.

I fly my Flag 365 days a year. It is joined with other flags only twice a year: On the march 17th I fly my Irish Flag along with the Stars and Stripes to recall where my people came from and on the 4th of July I fly a flag that my family purchased back at the Bicentennial with a 13 stars over the number '76 in the canton .

Yep. When we got our house one of the first things I did was get a flag. I LOVE 4th of July!!

I flew my flag up until we began bombing the Iraqis after 9/11. Now I am so heartbroken & cynical about our country that I cannot, in good conscience, fly our symbol of war.
