I will be staying in a B&B in that area, is it a nice place to stay? any recommendations?

It's a very nice area of town. It is located in the quarter of Kemptown, which is the city's gay village and also a big artist and bohemian hangout. There are lots of nice boutique shops in this area and a village-like atmosphere. The people are also pretty friendly.

Nearby though is also the pier, the beach and the shops and clubs of the city centre, all about 5 to 10 minutes walk away.

Basically you have the whole of Brighton in the palm of your hand, and it is a great place to visit at any time of the year.

Madeira PLace is at the east end of town, quite near to the Marina, where there are all sorts of restaurants and clubs, a casino and cinema. It is about a 15 minute walk into the city and 10 minutes to our famous pier. Lots of restaurants, bars and clubs, as well as our famous Royal pavilion, so have fun!
