I bought it recently, and have installed but have come to the dilemma of which race and class to make my character.
Which one's should i use ?

There is no best class or race. There are some races that are better for certain classes but that's it.
It really depends how you play.
I could say Mage is best but if you like melee you will be one bad mage.
Play around try a couple different characters, dont be scared to say this one isnt for me and try something else.
As I said some races are better for certain classes that is because of their racials, these are some of the more common combos you'll see mostly because of racials.
HORDE.
Orc - hunter, warlock
Undead - rogue, priest
troll - hunter, rogue, shaman
tauren - warrior, druid(only)
Bloodelf - pally (only), mage, warlock
ALLIANCE
Human - warrior, pally, warlock
gnome - any of their 4 choices
dwarf - pally, priest, rogue
nightelf - hunter, rogue, druid (only)
Draenei - Shaman(only) warrior, priest

Well, if you are a guy, then the best race/class is Night Elf Rogue (female).
You are going to spend a *lot* of time looking at this toon, and a night elf female decked out in rogue clothing will make that time go by a little faster.

They all have different attributes which make them all important in the game.
I would go for a druid though. They can be a tank, healer or damage character, depending on whiat you specify.

night elf is best race(alliance). hunter is best race for night elf.
