that after they hit so many years they have to be removed? And if they do does anyone know how long can they stay in a park? I live in PA and I wanna buy my daughter one for her and my grandson but it's rather old and wanted to make sure she can live in it for while before I put money into it. Thank you for your help.

I'm sure that is left up to the park operator/owner. Check with the park guidelines before signing the papers to move, and you shouldn't have any problems. There will be different requirements for different parks, some won't allow double-wides, porch add-ons, etc.

The determination of how old can be a mobile home before it is required to be removed is based upon the policy of the owners of the mobile home park. Many parks these days are requiring updating or changing of the mobile home at a certain age as a means of keeping the park attractive and in desirable condition.

Check with each of the mobile home parks involved and discover their policies.

I'm not aware of how commercial land in PA is growing but I can assure you that there is no guarantee.. since you do not own the lot, the owner can sell the park anytime for big development and profits.
Have it inspected before you buy it, most mobiles homes do not retain any value.

I lived in a mobile home for a few years and never heard of that. I know some owners weed out older ones because they look trashed. Just from my experience mobile homes are not the best investment because of the lot rent.

Most parks will have to approve your daughter, before letting her move in and so when they are doing her credit and background check. Ask them about the home and and get it in writing!
