All I can say about this whole thing is WOW. When I heard this on the news last night I was stunned. I am not a Bush supporter and this really made him look as stupid as I always thought he was. This man should be thrown out of government and put in jail himself. This has everything to do with unfair justice to every American out there that is a slap in the face whether you are a republican or Democrat. Why should this man not have to serve his time he has broken the law. Even Paris Hilton had to serve her time remember the big stink they made when they let her out. This is Wrong.

Yes, cause now the White House is a place of integrity. Didn't Bush say so? Oh no. That's right. Libby is okay because Clinton did it. Presidents have the right to pardon anyone for anything. No? Treason is okay? No? I am so confused.

No, thats not what Repubs mean. Its that most Repubs are sick and tired of the Dems/Libs double standard of its ok for them to do something, but heaven forbid the Repubs do the same thing.
True, Bill got a BJ in the White House. But he lied over and over to the American people, Congress, Senate, etc. So if Scooter Libby gets 2 1/2 years for a lie to Congress, why didn't Bill get the same sentence? Bill got a pass, so why not Scooter?
BTW, Scooter's sentence or charges had nothing to do with National Security.....he couldn't remember details of a conversation from years ago.

They are always blaming Clinton! How can anyone with half a brain believe this? Clinton's fault? Of course they know they are wrong but they are (or think they are) masters of the blame game! I am to strong minded to fall prey to their brainwashing taticts! Bush pardoned Libby and Clinton had nothing to do with Bush's decision!

Actually a good question. It should not have anything to do with what Clinton did or did not do but be based off of whether Libby deserves commutation/pardon (he does).

No, Libs constant defense of Clinton's perjury as just sex is what is wrong.
Clearly Clinton lied and a jury made the decision that Libby lied, Clinton only lost the ability to practice law temporarily and Libby was going to prison, big difference. If Clinton had gone to prison for perjury, then Libby should have gone to prison.
Plame and Wilson should have gone to prison for their lies as well, IF Libby had gone to prison.
BTW, Bush kept his word. He said he would NOT interfere until Libby had completed his appeal.

It is within the President's power to pardon people.
Libs are OUTRAGED by the pardon, so I am just pointing out that Presidents can give pardons. Clinton pardoned people as well.
You can argue if a President should have this power. Pardons are usually for people that have been convicted.
Libby still has to pay the fine!!

I just want people not to act all self-righteous when it comes to the Libby pardon while conveniently contracting amnesia when it comes to the bunch of zanies Clinton pardoned.

If Bush were to drop a nuclear bomb on Iran, and then the cons realized how many unborn children were killed as their pregnant mothers died, they'd blame Clinton.

I think they not only no it's wrong but they also feel the dems are hypocritical to complain. Every president has done this, whether or not party affliation. Am I the only one who's sick of the constant badgering of these political affliations, like it's just a game of power struggle.
