As a hair dresser i carried mine with me at all times and I had it on a special ring tone for my son and other important people in-case of an emergency, but I only had them call in-case of an emergency and I wouldn't answer on the 1st time they called so if they called right back i knew it was an emergency! I had the phone on vibrate so the ring was not that annoying to others!

Yes, I can.
In fact, on several occasions when my cell rang, I just ignored it because my boss's wife was discussing a project with me at my desk.......she would ask, "Aren't you going to answer your phone?''..........She was sincere in her question really.

But of course, I do not abuse the ''freedom'' like one other colleague who would call, talk, text the whole day long...
How people take advantage, huh?!!!!
