Best place to eat "Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery" open 24 hr, at the old city market- they started out feeding the farmers who brought in the produce. Best "real" tex-mex you can find. While your there stroll through the market, there are some interesting finds if you look around.
It the city of missions, the Alamo is usually on everyone's list but sadly is a tourist trap-better bet is to drive by on your way the the many other missions in the area. The river walk is beautiful and the gondula ride are fun and interesting.
Many museums with interesting subject matter, m favorite is the Witte Museum.
San Antonio is a great city, excellent shopping, friendly people, and the best food in the state!!!!

The very best of the very best, San Antonio is the greatest city in the greatest State. It is in a class by itself, people treat each other with respect here and work with one another to accomplish like goals. Adjectives that describe San Antonio; wonderful, good , great, pretty , beautiful, tolerant, Heaven, Nirvana, Utopia, dynamic, ingratiating, wondrous, special, sweet, unsurpassed, this list could go on and on but I think you get the idea. It is all THAT!
