The blood test results have confirmed the lack of periods is caused by the menopause.
The doctor advised "I DON'T THINK SO"

I think you do. I am going through menopause right now. I went for two years and then started having periods again for 6 months. There also are menopausal babies............. Menopause takes years to complete, and it would be best to wait until the doctor says you are finished with it and then I would wait another year or so............. just to be safe.

Unless you are planning to have a baby you should always use contraception.....

And if you are using a contraception and are having relations with someone who is not (how do I say?) an exclusive regular partner you should also always use a condom...

Sex...it can be fun if you do it right....be safe.x

Unless you want a baby, it would probably be a good idea to use. (just to be safe)
