I recently told my wife that I have been wearing women's lingerie off and for more than 15 years. I also told her that from time to time I have also worn her things as well. She wasn't too thrilled. At first she was visibly upset and confused and now she kind of jokes about it and it doesn't really seem to bother her too much. I have never told anyone before about this part of my life before, but now that I have told her, I have no real desire to wear women's lingerie anymore.

Is this common with other men who have come out to their wives? Are their any wives who could express in detail how this made them feel and what they did to cope with this knowledge? Did it have an effect on their reltaionship? The only effect I have noticed thusfar is a heightened sense of arousal on my and her part, which seems the polar opposite of what I expected.

Often more open communication about sexual desires, fantasies and fetishes will strengthen both mates bonds and enjoyment - as long as both are willing to continue to accept and love each other. Sometimes one spouse just needs to realize that they need to accept the "kink" even if it does nothing for them.

Keep communicating with your spouse and enjoy your time together.

First of all I am certainly glad you finally shared that portion of yourself with your wife. Your opening up to her like that took alot of trust, courage and love. When I told my wife we were still dating so I know how you feel. It is scary to trust someone that much with a secret. Believe me, I like to dress as much as the next CD. Maybe even more since I tend to wear hoisery and lingerie almost daily. But perhaps the desire was based on doing something that is considered forbidden. As for the heightened since sense of arousal you both seem to have, I would contribute that to the intimacy of you sharing your secret with her.

I told my wife 25 years ago that I like dressing as a woman. Everything was now out in the open. We went to several events for gals like me, met some wonderful people. The desire to dress for me hasn't diminished at all. It just keeps getting stronger. She no longer goes out with me dressed, but thats ok for us. Its her choice and I respect that, as she respects my choice to dress. Hope this was helpful
