I only measure when baking. Cooking...never measure.

I own measuring cups and spoons but i never use them and I guess on everything and put in what i think will make it taste good!

If it is a new recipe I tend to be more careful with measurements, but if it is something that I make often I usually just guess at it. Often after making a recipe I will increase or decrease a non-essential ingredient to my or my family's personal taste.

I sometimes estimate. Depends on how often I've cooked the particular food or how much I have of another ingredient it has to mix with.

I measure everything exactly with exception of the adding water part.

I cook by estimates but I bake w/exact amounts.

the main is thing is to have fun.and not competition...trial and error of estimating ingredients when cooking and the more practice, the better it will turn out.

I am an official member of the "Pinch of This, Handful of That Crowd." Never had much use for recipes, unless is was something special that was requested.

never measure the food is more interesting that way .... unless I'm baking then it has to be exact

I have some pretty fancy measuring utensils, but i rarely fill them "properly"...i "season to taste"
