I had my regular scheduled period for its normal 5 days, and then a week later, I got it again. It's still going, 10 days later, and what scares me is that the amount of blood is still the same as when it started. Not heavy, not light, no clotting. The color started out brown, now it looks freshly red. My boyfriend of 4 years has had a vasectomy, so I cant be pregnant. Can someone please let me know if this will pass, or if I should schedule an appt. I don't have health insurance and I cant really afford a doctors visit right now if its not neccessary.

Bleeding for 10 days is not a good sign. You should go see your doctor. It could be cysts, tumors, or something else that needs fixing. If you continue to bleed like this, you could also become anemic (not enough iron in the blood).
