bars? Why or why not?

As a past-time, yes I did enjoy going to bars. Before having my children, I enjoyed going to Country bars and line dancing. I enjoyed being in this environment because it made me feel so ALIVE.

I never really had a drinking problem but I quit drinking alcohol. I had to quit smoking and the beer was a problem with my smoking [which only happened when I drank alcohol]. It ended up being the best decision in my life. 13 years later I suffered some with regard to my social life but the truth is that I never really liked bars. The losers tend to mass at those places. I don't preach but I would never marry an alcoholic. I like the straight life. Also I never got laid in a bar, I never cared for that whole easy pick up scene. I would rather do it with somebody that wasn't drunk.

I used to like it but not any more,too many drunks and jerks,also fights and shootings. I don't want to be in fear while at a bar so I quit going to them.

I use to love going out to the bars, partying & dancing my @ss off , but I haven't done so in quite awhile.

I don't do much drinking anymore but I like going to bars during happy hours and getting their half priced appetizers and have them as my dinner...

No, because if I did the police would take me away/shut down the bar, as I am underage.

I like goin 2 bars........
a) 2 see and dance wid hot chicks
b) 2 ease off my tension
c) make new contacts

Not anymore. Seems like you spend more time fighting off the guys than you do anything else. Use to like to watch the drunks fall off their stools, always good for a laugh! LOL

Unfortunately, they don't serve my kind in there. Probably because a walking Mailbox scares the crap out of alot of people, especially after people have been drinking. I understand though, and spend my free time with my friends.

I haven't been to one in years. I quit drinking almost 12 years ago.
