Do you simply choose the answer with the MOST thumbs up?

I choosse the one with the most thumbs up if it comes to that and make sure i comment about "ALL" the great answers.. but it has to be one i agree with... It drives me crazy when questions are left forever in "limbo-land"!!! I feel if you ask a question you should vote for best... that way people know you really wanted to know the answer to the question you posted... not just out there asking questions... plus some are medical related and people like to know if your pet is doing better or if the advice even worked...smile

I know what you mean. I have recieved some really good answers and I have had a hard time choosing as well. Last time I had a hard time, I slept on it and tried to think who helped me out or who gave me the answer that best educated me on something I didn't know. I also would choose the person who looked like they put some thought to thier answer. Using the thumbs up/down to make your decision is hard because everyone has a different opinion and it may not be your opinion. So, I would say go with what your gut is telling you...not anyone else....good luck

I know sometimes it's very hard to pick one. I think I spend more time debating than anything else! I actually used the thumbs up only once. I just do the best I can.

no if I am torn between answers I think about how much thought was put in to the answer. Did they just answer or give me extra information that was helpful. , then I look at the thumbs up, if still tied in my mind I try to help out a new person with points.

Sometimes but then again i mainly choose the person who i think deserves the points. And also i try picking people who are high in points cause then i know they are giving an experienced answer.

I haven't asked too many questions yet, but I read all the answers, and try to choose the one that agrees with my opinion most.

Sometimes...or just randomly pick. Other times, it is hard to pick when the answers are just simple one word answers.

That's interesting. Should try that next time. No I agonize & keep extending the time limit until i pick one that feels right to me.
