Yes it is there are many Hoover repair places but we have replaced ours (dyson ) several times by contacting Dyson direct.

Either visit a vacuum repair shop or look up the brand of your vacuum on the Internet. Replacement parts are usually listed on their website. One secret I have learned over the years, is to buy the same model vacuum each time I need a new one. Then I strip all the old parts off of the one I am getting rid of and store them. That way, if the new vacuum needs parts, I have an instant parts store. But check with either a repair shop or over the Internet.

I see from all these replies that you can get spares for a Dyson. What does that tell you?. If I had to keep replacing the hose on a vacuum, it would have seen the inside of the trash can years ago.
Buy a Sebo.

Our local street market has a stall which sells hoses for cleaners. Might be worth looking there - cheaper than authorised dealers.

If you can call the manufacter and get the replacement otherwise contact an authorised dealer/repair shop and see if they can order the part for you... Or they might have it in stock. Good luck

Try putting the name of your vac and the model into your search engine and press go. Look for spares. I bet you will come up with one quicker than you can vac. your bathroom!
