But, to answer your question:
This would depend on the woman. I think most women wouldn't get anything out of it and would find it a bit too weird. If the woman is a dominatrix, then dressing her slave/sub up as a woman could be a power play or to embarrass and humiliate them. The man might just like crossdressing and it would then have nothing to do with a woman making him do it.... There's a lot of other reasons stuff like this could happen. There's no simple and easy answer.

If she's not into it, the cross dressing will upset her, and put pressure on the relationship. So in this case, nothing but hurt and confusion about the man she loves.

If she is into it, or can accept it, well, generally I would say he is happier, so she will be...he should be prepared to work even harder at the relationship because she really is giving something to him few female partners will. So there are benefits for her...but only if she's open to them.
