Try running your PC with the side panel open and an electric fan pointed towards the motherboard. If problem stops, you just need to improve airflow in your PC case. If problem still persists, your power supply could be unstable or there is a problem with RAM.

Overheating may be the problem .. check the temperature of the processor using some software.. asus come with bundled tools to monitor the temperatures and speeds of fans..
the overheat protection on your motherboard will reset ur comp the moment the temperature crosses the specified tolerance limit..
check if your cpu fan is working properly .. stock fan shud be atleast 3000 rpm ... clean your heatsink and fan...

Hi,
If you use internet from the computer you're talking about, it is possible that there is some virus threat. I'm not sure but it can be, However, you can try to restore your computer configuration to an earlier time, please continue with the following:
Click on start >> Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools. and select SYSTEM RESTORE.
Select "restore my computer to an earlier time"
Click on next. and complete the following.
Note: Please DO NOT press any key while restoring.
The computer will restart and I believe your issue will be resolved.
Take care, god bless..
