If you've read my answers in Parts Two and Three, you'll know what I mean....Yes, I'm from Jacksonville and go to Lee High School. People don't rank on other people's clothes. They'll just simply ignore you. If someone does rank on people's clothes, it will just be casual, nothing serious. Of course there are mean people at every high school. If you play a sport, go ahead and join a team because that's how you get your name in the yearbook and that's how you meet more people. People of different grades usually don't talk with each other....unless it's casual or they both know each other really well. For example, you won't see a freshman talking to a junior. That just doesn't work that way in high school. in Jacksonville the order form 9th grade to 12th are freshmen, sophomore, junior, then finally senior. At Lee High, the 10th and 11th graders are called uperclassmen.

Yes, there are cliques. But you will soon make your own friends, so don't worry about that.
Do you get picked on the first day? Sometimes - but just walk on by someone who is mean to you.
What do most of the kids wear? Do you know someone who is one year ahead of you in school - ask that person.
You are not the only one who will be shy and nervous. Just be yourself, and before long you will have lots of new friends.
One suggestion: find an after-school club that interests you and join. It's a good way to make friends.
Good luck.

You'll find that people in high school are not as immature as those in middle school. They won't be mean to you. If they don't like a person, most will simply ignore that person. Everyone going into their first year of high school is a little scared. So this is a perfect opportunity to make new friends. Join a club or a team. Within a few weeks you'll have plenty to talk about and it will be as if you've been friends for your entire life. Be yourself and people will like you for who you are. People can spot a fake, so be genuine.

I know you are nervous, but it will be ok. Yes, sometimes kids will try to trick the freshmen when they first start. This was going on when I was in high school 20 years ago. Just be ready for them. Be yourself. Don't try to be like everyone else just to fit in or not be teased. Remember, high school only last 4 years, and this is not a big percentage of your life.

there is nothing really bad about high school. just remember that on your first day or even week, dont try to act cooler than u already r. let nature run its corse. hang out with ur friends from middle school. u will make a lot more friends, but take ur time with it. friendships dont happen over night!!
most of all if someone older like a senior doesnt like u, LEAVE THEM ALONE!!! they can and might beat u up. other than that high school is just like middle school, except harder.
just remember dont worry, ur not the only 1 who is and has gone through this and just have fun
