Yes. Most infamous controversial Clinton pardon, Marc Rich (Wire fraud, mail fraud, racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, criminal forfeiture, income tax evasion, and trading with Iran in violation of trade embargo). Guy was a slimeball traitor. Even Dems were upset over this pardon.

Rich bought crude oil from the Ayatollah Khomeini's Iran while Iran was holding U.S. citizens hostage. This was in direct violation of a U.S. trade embargo -- and, in effect, helped to arm the Iranians by giving them needed cash.

Yet, Rich and his wife Denise raised and donated more than $1 million to the Democratic Party in recent years and also provided the Clintons directly with a $10,000 contribution to their legal defense fund and $7,300 worth of furniture.

You want to talk about disgust, blueridgeliving, well there you go. Suck on that. It goes both ways babe.

Oh, yeah...thanks as always Thorgirl, you're the best!

ADDED: Is Roger Clinton still selling *, now that he's pardoned?

No, they were MUCH happier as they are no longer convicted felons. But Old Scoot damn sure is!

What the hell was The Libster "proven innocent" of??

To the idiot that alleged that Clinton pardoned any terrorists, read the list, stupid! Never happened!

The reality is that both Clinton and Bush pardoned a wide variety of crimminals, mostly non-violent offenders. The majority of the people were convicted of financial crimes. In the interest of fairness, here's a link to Bush's list: http://www.usdoj.gov/pardon/bushgrants.htm

this is great..we have the cursory

Clinton...good
Bush......bad

maybe the death list of Clinton associates..and the fact people stonewalled investigations..to avoid being killed like James McDougal was the same evening after he disclosed the idiom about a trunk full of money..from jail.should be highlighted here..

Libby co-operated was grilled repeatedly and had conflicting
testimony..some of the people here cannot even get anything straight..in two seperate posts..much less speaking to a prosecutor..that he could have said.."I don't remember"
and did the Clinton shuffle.

Were any of them clintons political buddies, who were told to take the hit - so they will be commuted later - in one of the biggest and most important judical hearings of our time?

Even Nixon didn't have the bare faced cheek - or the disrepect for the judical system - to do that.

But since many of them were terrorists, they were "good criminals", as oppopsed to "bad ones" like libby, who was proven innocent of the original charges.
