Well, the scene is pretty clear... looks like she succeeded to me; though some do-gooder (probably Carlos or someone) may come to her aid just in time.
As for Ep 24, you won't see it until Sunday September 23, 2007 when it airs.

She does look to have killed herself (i'm hoping she did; I in no way cherished her character) yet it relatively is the element- you're actually not meant to comprehend if she did or did no longer till the hot season starts off.
