I used to eat a good amount of food and actually want to eat, but lately I have had no appetite and I have to force myself to eat, I just don't get hungry, so I generally try to eat two bowls of cereal a day a small snack, I am more willing to eat in the morning and it is harder for me to force myself to eat later in the day I am also gaining weight, not alot but my weight is slowly increasing, the only medication I am on is birth control for medical reasons, has any one else ever had this happen to them, could this be caused by the birth control? any thoughts?

I took Ortho-TriCyclen and I put on quite a bit of weight. Voice your concerns to your doctor.

I would check in to see your doctor hon, it could be the pill causing your lack of appetite and I know it can cause bloating too! He might put you on another pill. Have a good day.

I would get yourself to the doctors to get checked out for thyroid problems and also discuss your pill options. Good luck!

How old are you? I suppose you would not be in the category for anorexia nervosa. Well only you would know.

With the birth control pil to my knowledge, it does not reduce appetite

It's probably the pill. Talk to your doctor.
