I dont think middle aged people of this generation do - thats why if you go to your mum and dad "do you believe in global warming" they always go "what? are you kidding?" they're not bothered about us!

Well, at the moment I don't have children, so great grand children is not quite on the horizon at present!!!!
I do think you are being totally selfish to be honest with you, you should be mindful of how you are with the planet and how this will react to others' in the future!!!!
Personally, I think that people in general are so wrapped up in other things, that they are not bothered that the planet is decreasing with animal extinction and people are more bothered about the weather! Huh honest how about the animals whose rain forests are depleted? Seriously, as I am very passionate about this topic, do what you can to support planet earth!
And to finish, I feel sorry for the children of today, (and I am v. youthful myself), but it's the next generation that will suffer. If you are not a believer, then scrap this comment, but the bible states GOD placed animals on this earth NOT TO EAT!!!!! Maybe one step too far with that comment, but what the heck!

As the world social is going all is unpredictable. What the to morrow will be like none may know. We are already in a world society of moving sand-never know which corner is safe with all the vices loaded in ( now a new type is raising its head said to be from the unemployed sector-the suicide bombers !
Then how long will the child will be with you and listen to your advice- say up to age of majority ( 18) the tell you ' this is my life I do not need your advice any longer'.You see how difficult matters turn up for mothers where ingratitude awaits them .
You are right send all to hell and live your own life -that too will need some hardening of feelings.Go to a website-http://pages.intnet.mu//jhkr1 and refresh yourself. You say you not care whether on earth or Hell (assuming you are not mother of a suicide bomber -Paradise is too full these days so all are diverted to Hell) but in side you i that motherly conscience saying so-of that woman who carried her baby with all the sacrifices and pains permanent attendance for 'nine months and nine days', Animals do it how could humans do the same? Don't you think even at old age he or she will still call you MON?

Just like earth, water and air, human mind does not like gaps in its containments. It is possible to work out a relatively carefree attitude but concerns remain in deeper strata of our consciousness. Our concerns are not always about what is immediate about us but also about matters more philosophical and spiritual in nature. We like to know what is the purpose to our life, for instance? That why do we endure hardships in life? What does make us happy? With these questions in our mind, we also like to know where have we come from, and where are we heading? Is there an end to all this, or the world will go on forever? The mind wants answers; it requires certainty in knowledge where there is none.
The concerns regarding our family and children are far more realistic in human nature. They are not merely intellectual inquiries. They have strong emotional significance for us, they are about our immediate sense of wellbeing. We wonder if this world would come to an end because we want to know if our life has been for some good reason in its being We want to know that our life, and the entire creation, is not an freak accident, unlikely to be repeated again, but it has a purpose, or a divine ordination for some supreme intelligence.
The opinions we have about the creation, the life and after life and also about the continuity of human race affect our mind very deeply. The quality of our intellectual thoughts and spiritual beliefs is influenced profoundly by our views about life in general. If life is to be called life, for instance, then it has to continue as such, that even when we depart from this world our existence continues to exist somewhere else, and the rest of the human race continues to live as it is. The nature of human mind is such that it wants to be certain about all things. And if our knowledge does not provide this certainty then we would seek fulfilment through power and insightfulness of our beliefs.

It might sound stupid but just the other night I was holding my baby boy and I almost felt the need to say sorry for bringing him into this world.
I don't think we need to worry too much about global warming. The planet has been constantly changing since it's birth. When the Sphinx was built, Egypt was a tropical zone not a desert! We just need to learn how to adapt to the changes.
What worries me more for my children is the ever decaying society we are trapped in. Something drastic need to happen to change how we see each other.

Very good question. In about 25 years I can have great grand children. I plan to be here with them, my dad has seen 5 already. I don't think they will live much different than I did.
***CARE? - No I don't, I have enough to think about, thank you very much.

I always deeply resented the fact all my great-great-grandfathers never worried about me, never even knew I existed.
For that reason I've been careful not to have any great great grandchildren.
However, if I had any, I'd be concerned as hell about the lives they'll live.

I, personally, won't have any great-grandchildren as we Vulcans are nearing extinction. I do, however, care about the world we leave to the descendants of others. It would, though be simplistic to think that we could greatly affect the final out come.

I think the same way as you.
Also, by the time it gets down to great grandchildren, they will only be 1/8 of you so are not really that closely related at all.

young babies certainly replace your marriage! i in my view have self belief they could make or injury a marriage - it is that customary of a metamorphosis. As dad and mom in case you're no longer on the comparable internet site whilst it contains parenting - existence is going to be tricky. some adult men have a complicated time with their lover being a mom - and now seeing her in a mom function. some dad and mom are so in love with their babies they forget approximately approximately their better half. Then there is the sleepless nights, consistent stress of elevating young babies - them attempting out obstacles. some babies are born with handicaps which upload extra stress and economic burden -- the circumstances are limitless - how would desire to everyone say that having a toddler does no longer replace their relationship. yet, maximum marriages that lust/romance dies down in time. The friendship blossoms - you grow to be a collection working at the same time in objectives, working at the same time as dad and mom, and now that my young babies are just about long gone, we are notably sturdy - even understanding what the different thinks. it is frightening. we like our babies - constantly have - constantly will. It wasn't a query for me - i wanted babies. they do no longer seem to be perfect, yet neither are we. it is a getting to understand curve - you do the ultimate you could, and need they're ok. I actual have an aunt and uncle who could no longer have young babies - I concern approximately them extraordinarily residing on my own in Florida - no relatives participants close interior the eighty's and now that we basically lost my dad and my better half's father - how would desire to our mom's are starting to be via without young babies. no longer a reason to have young babies - yet they upload plenty on your existence. confident they're a discomfort interior the tush at situations - yet you nevertheless love them, and concern approximately them. regardless of you settle on - it is the splendid determination - because of the fact it is what's sturdy for you as a pair - no you may assist you to recognize what to do - it is very own. sturdy success!
