It's a circle, and you keep end up in the same place you started at.

The outside space goes on forever just the way a journey would go on forever if one would keep sitting in the waiting room of a railway station, without ever bothering to board the train for a desired destination. We seek to explore space while we are all inside it, the object of our inquiry. How, for instance, one would be able to melt copper in a vessel that itself is made of copper? A man while inside a house would never be able to determine exactly how big the house is; he may manage to measure up all the inner space but the question how think are the wall can only be answered once both the inside and out side are known. And if one wants to know how big is this universe then one needs to have a thing bigger still in magnitude in the mind to stand upon, and to observe.
As far my personal theories are concerned, I could have had countless by now, as the object of my inquiry is beyond my rational understanding but not beyond my consideration. And each time I think I try to come up with the best theory so far - this is life at its best.
I think the outside space, for an observer, begins from the front of the eye of that observer, and then it goes through all the space across the solar system, the interstellar space, the galaxies, the intergalactic regions, the clusters of galaxies and then strands of clusters of galaxies, and when all is consumed the journey ends behind the eye. The first edge of the universe is what we have in front, and the second what we have behind the eye. And the thinnest possible space in existence in between these two edges is the ‘I’ that asks questions and searches for absolute answers. This is what you need to know to know anything at all.

our scientific boffs believe in a single Big Bang as the single point of creation for all existing matter, so how ever far out that first created individual piece of matter drifted should be the marker for Finite Space (matter) unless of course there has been a long series of big Bangs a mind boggling unreachable distance from us ..and then of course time and space might bend at some point and bring you all the way back to were you started, I think what I am saying is that at this moment in our time, your Question is as big , all encompassing and without answer as your imagination lets it.

Some theorize that space curves, or if you were to go in one direction constantly to the "end" of the universe, you'd wind up back where you started. Sort of like, if you went in one direction here on earth, you would eventually end up where you started. But, the univerese is still expanding at millions of miles per hour after the Big Bang (if you subscibe to this theory) so we can never really know what is beyond the edge. Maybe other dimensions, maybe nothingness, maybe and inpenetrable barrier.

space is infernate no end, NO BEGINING, the cycle of space and the planets, many a exploding black hole (which i beleave there are thousands at any one time and obaying the law of physics to every action there is a equal and opposite reaction ) to going in to another one, some were, with the life of planets, stars and other bodies in between--------- makes more logic than most of the answers so far on this subject in the past

i happen to think that the universe, as we know it, as know end, but is rather a small and miniscule part of another world...
imagine if our entire universe was one part of some creatures thumbnail? and there was a whole other small universe inside your thumbnail and it kept on going with an unlimited number of times going larger and smaller
i thought about it for a few days and it makes sense enough from what history has shown us: first, western civilzation didnt even know that the americas existed until the surprise party of 1492 ( or if you wanna get theoretical, the vikings...) and after that we discovered the depths of oceans and height of the atmosphere, next was the moon and solar system, then galaxies...the list goes on
sleep on it, it'll hit you like a sack of bricks

No One went there, as far as I know, but it is bound and expands as well, from the gravitational forces that governs nature, I think you should read the book of “A Brief History of Time” written by Professor Stephen Hawking, that should help.

Our brains are not evolved enough to be able to understand the concept of infinity. What about dimensions...how do we get our heads around that one too? Another question...will our physical brains ever become evolved enough to understand all this, or will all be revealed in another spiritual existence??

they say there's nothing beyond space... but take a second and try to imagine 'Nothing' i no i cant.. i just think of an empty sort of like grey area..but then read what Ive just said, its still an empty grey area, isn't it, so what is that space called?
if you haven't seen it, or haven't been told about it, does that mean its not there?

Space only exists when there is duality; here and there, you and me.
To find what appears before space, collapse the duality; bring awareness back to yourself, until there is only one.

more space, and a huge black hole, just waiting for every little unsuspecting universe to cross it's path, so it can feed on it and grow. My question is where do those things go in the black hole ??
