What I mean is, I went to turn over and turned so my tummy was facing the bed, and all of a sudden these really weird sensations started happening and it was like i had butterflies in my tummy, but lots of them....any ideas what this is, it may be nothing, just felt very strange and like nothing I have felt before. This is my first pregnancy.

Congratulations..you are in the process of creating one of the most complicated..creations that I know of-a human being. There is not a scientist or designer in this world that will be able to even approach that which you are able to do. You should receive a nobel prize or something similar for your creation! Unfortunately there are millions of other women (sorry guys-no intended discrimination here) that are doing or have done the same and it has become accepted as a normal everyday event. I can't even imagine what that is like to have something living inside of me...like eating a live fish that keeps on swimming around inside or something.

yeah i had same the other night but my belly went hard then it rolled right across then like a fluttery feeling im 15 weeks too i thought it was abit early but people say that all pregnancys are different so hey are babys are doing the can-can

It could have been the baby!! Thats sort of what it feels like so early in pregnancy.

Hi this means your experiencing your babies first moves as its your first child it takes longer for you to feel them the more children you have the earlier the movements you feel hope this helps and congratulations

With my first, it felt like butterflies or champagne bubbles! It's your baby moving.

aww how wonderful, your wee baby is moving :) I only feel mine early on in the pregnancy if I lie on my tummy (not later of course as its not good!!)
