I have another tower that i was given a few months back, it looks although it is a costom made tower, put in with motherboard etc etc. The 80gb HDD that come with it doesn't do anything! It has an AMD athlon 2000xp Processor, and runs 512mb of ram memory, i do have another 256 to add, depending which OS i use.

I am having trouble with loading ME onto it, it seems to be taking forever, to do what my old tower done within 12 hours!
I am still using the 10bg HDD as i have no other one ( that Works )

I am wondering if i should put XP back onto it because it might just go through the cycle of not working again, where it keeps restarting and returning the the safe mode option screen, and yet again restarting.

I also Have Windows 2000 Proffetionall, But when i try to install my broadband software it comes up with a grey box saying ' OrandBroadband Has caused an Error in Unknown.
What does this mean??

Many thanks, Dave ;-)

Make life easier, just use Win XP SP2.

"Given "is the operative word here. Put XP back on it and quit wasting your time. You are going backwards.
