The self leveling compound is only for filling in "holes" or dips in the floor. Your floor can still be slanted in any direction when you tile. If you are trying to totally level the floor, then you would have a problem at the door. How big are the dips in the floor? Are you trying to level the floor? The only real Level space you will need is going to be under the tub and toilet, otherwise, your floor can be slanted. Hope this helps.

Doubtful you'll be happy with the results. It will crack when the floor flexes. If you put tile over it the glue will stick to the compound and when the compound cracks the tile will come up.
They do make a vinyl type compound, similar to spackle that might work. It takes a long time for it to dry and if you make the mistake of poking your finger in it to see if it's dry, it'll leave a hole that you can't smooth out.

No, as far as I am aware no one makes a product that would have enough flex to cope with the deflection in the floor. Chipboard is probably one of the worst when it comes to movement...

no chance ..not even with the latex one ..a floating floor does exactly that .and no type of compound will stay in place

yes you can, but you must use a LAYTEX (rubber ) based one and not a water based one.
