I know the word you mean, jobees. But I don't hate it.
Depending on the context it is used - the word is OK.
I have a few friends who have cerebral palsy and that word sometimes is used to describe the type of CP they have. That usage is quite OK.
It is NOT OK when it is used as a mean to put down someone as "stupid". THAT- is not acceptable.
The word I don't like is "retard". The word is nearly always used as a derogatory term. "Mental Retardation" is bad enough but it is still used as a description and I barely tolerate it. But "retard" as a label is abhorrent in my vocabulary.

I'm not sure what word you've indicated there, but it must be pretty bad to blank it all out. Yes, I have words I hate.
1) B*tch (when applied towards a human female)
2) Insane (when applied to a mentally ill person)
3) Retard
4) Cripple
5) Appropriate (long story--just suffice it to say, this word has been known to make me see red)
I'm sure there are others, but these are the main ones that come to mind at this moment.

There are many words I dislike.
The N word I think is the worst.....not allowed in my house. Shut up is another word(s) I dislike a great deal.
but in general, the words that a person chooses to use show off their mentality. If they use the N word it immediately shows me I don't want to be around them. :)

yeah, uh, I don't like sp##### either, all those number signs tick me off!
Actually, I don't like the four-letter "C" word for women's genitalia, I think it's a very nasty word, I don't say it, and I really hate to hear it.

I agree with The Mouse. Retard is bad. Spastic is descriptive. If someone calls my son a retard, he had better be armed with a gun. If he calls my son spastic, he may just mean he has spasticity of the muscles due to cp.
