You can whip out the paint and flour and make play dough together with the kids, bake a cake while they playing and I think that you can put on a dvd for them and take a long hot bubble bath. Happy birthday hun. Hope you have a splendid day.

It's my fellas bday 2morrow too! Happy Bday! American Independance day eh? He hates it!!! Buy some party food stuff that your kids, you and hubby will enjoy and have a little buffet for when everyone's in for tea. Perhaps you could get yourself a dvd for the evening - your choice! Failing that, book a table at a restaurant, take the kids!

Why not see if any friends are available and go for something to eat or depending on how old your kids are get out some crafts stuff and get them to make your a card or even bake a cake.
My friend has a 3 year old who loves to bake or work with crafts! It;s great fun for the adults as well hehe

Treat yourself to a takeout dinner, and a few glasses of wine. Put the kids to bed early. Take a long bubble bath, eat, and have your wine while you watch a good movie.

Or you can go to lunch with a friend.

Do whatever you want/can. Hire a babysitter and go to dinner and a movie, out with your girls, etc. Happy Birthday. It's my brother's b-day today too.
