The sum of the angles in a triangle is 180 degrees Then 3x + x+ 10 + 2x - 40 = 180 Solve for x

3x + x + 10 + (2x - 40) = 180
because the sum of the three angles in a triangle = 180 degrees

4x + 10 + 2x - 40 = 180
6x - 30 = 180
6x =180 + 30
6x = 210
x = 210 / 6 = 35

3x = 3 * 35 = 105
x + 10 = 35 + 10 = 45
2x - 40 = 2 * 35 - 40 = 70 - 40 = 30

the smallest angle is 30 degrees.

The sum of the angles are 180°

So 3x+x+10+2x-40 =180

6x = 180+30

x=210/6=35

the three angles are 3x =105 , x+10= 45 , 2x-40 =30

the smallest angle is 30°

3x +
x+10 +
2x - 40
= 180

6x - 30 = 180
x - 5 = 30
x = 35

smallest?
3x = 105
x +10 = 45
2x - 40 = 30 <============ smallest

smallest angle is 2x -40 = 30 degree

180 degree = 3x + x +10 +2x -40
x = 30degree + 5
