this is not true, u take ur blood from both ur parents for example, i'm o- and my partner is a+ our son is o+ cause he took the group from me and the rhuese factir from my partner... so it doesn't always work out the same....

blood groups are A, B, AB & O these come in + and - you can get with parents such as

examples:

A = MUM, B = DAD, CHILD = A, B or AB.
B = MUM, B = DAD, CHILD = B
AB = MUM, DAD = B, CHILD = B, AB
O = MUM, DAD = B, CHILD = B, O

ETC!

No. The baby can have the whole range of blood groups.

It can have the fathers or mothers blood group but also blood groups caused by the combination of mother and father blood groups.

There is a thankfully, rare condition where the babies life can be threatened by having an incompatible blood group to the mother and this is treated by transfusing the baby in the womb!

No, that is absolutely not true.

A child can inherit the blood type of his father, his mother, or a different blood type altogether in some cases (recessive).

Blood type is NOT an adequate way to establish paternity.

rubbish.
Mother, father and child could have all different blood groups although this is quite uncommon.
The only way to find out parentage is with a DNA test and even this is not always 100% right.

No, that's not true. There are certain combinations of parent's blood types that cannot create a certain blood type in you, but you won't necessarily have the same blood type as one, or even either, of you parents.

That would be true only if both your father and mother have the identical blood group. Otherwise, no. You can inherit your mother's blood group.

Only DNA analysis can settle such questions of disputed parentage.

That is absolutely not true! There are charts for that, but it's more complicated than that. You can determine it for sure in a few cases if you know both yours an both parents' blood types.

A lot of mothers have different blood types than their children .. and after carrying them for 9 months .. you know they're not adopted :)
