My menstration is late for 8 weeks!!! I have done a pregnancy test but it's negative. I suffered from endometriosis and went for surgery 2 years ago. Could this illness cause the delay in cycle? My cycle is normally irregular but 8 weeks or more is too long. What could be wrong with me??

Yes, sometimes endometriosis can affect the period by making it irregular. But it's also possible that you could have an additional hormone imbalance such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome that could be causing this problem. The only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated by a dr.

Periods are things that seem to often be irregular, but in this case, 8 weeks (which is about 2 months) is a fair amount of time.
I can't diagnose anything over the internet, I think the best thing for you to do is see a doctor, because they have the no-how and will be able to help :)

If it is irregular normally then it may be nothing. My irregularity meant i sometimes missed up to over three months! But id go and see your doctor, they are the best person to tell you this and can also take a more accurate pregnancy test.
