Not unless we were friends far before the marriage, if there isn't history, I wouldn't feel right persuing another person that is spoken for.

you should stay friends, but not talk a lot, if you have deep feelings for that person, just because you care about someone and they get married, doesnt mean you have to quit being there friend it means they just aren't on the menu of the diet you are on anymore, if you feel you can't be friends with them you are probally in love with them and that is a whole different ball game, you dont want to labeled as a home wrecker or do something to ruin your friendship just back off for a while and try to do something to get them off your mind, easier said than done but can be done, good luck

I would still talk to them, just not as much since I now have different responsibilities

Why not unless you're saying you had feelings for the person then you have to ask yourself how important your friendship is to them and listen to your heart and decide what's right

Not in my situation...I kinda had some old feelings for him (the friend), but when I took the vow, out of respect for my husband....I don't talk to the "friend" anymore. He understands.
