When those two played against the said great players, they were not known as great players. Now, Gillie and a few others play well against lasith malinga so in the future people will say '' Gilchrist played incredibly against great bowlers like Malinga''. That is how it happens.....

I quite agree as the bowlers like Wasim Akram, Waquar Yunis, Courtney Walsh, Ambrose, Donald etc.were much better bowlers than the bowlers presntly in cricket.

Virender Sehwag is a superb batsman for India... As an opener he has helped India to get some runs immediately and has won few suits... His presence interior the India will strengthen up the boldness... Indians won't in any respect be in a subject if he's in undesirable sort or good... He performs his interest needless to say.... Its particularly a great vast blow for India... A accessible bowler too... BCCI shouldnt have taken the possibility of thinking him for the T20 WC.... yet for BCCI protecting T20 WC substitute into the biggest element fairly of permitting Sehwag to take a seat down back and get another participant fairly of him... even however he didnt play any interest interior the excursion, it substitute into particularly risky for him... via the time Sehwag comes back to Indian group... its significant to make valuable that... somebody else... takes Sehwag's aggressiveness and help group India come again on triumphing streak....

Seems to be a lot of talkj about fast bowlers and I'll agree, it does seem like there aren't as many great fast bowlers around at the moment as we've seen in the past. Does the same apply to the spinners though? anyone who saw Murali take apart the Bengalis has to admire that.

the bowlers of today dont appear to have the same fear as the great bowlers of the past era, especially the west indies.
most bowlers today just try to bowl a line/length eg. Glenn McGrath, whereas the bowlers in the past were able to utilise their pace to get the batsmen hopping.....
the quick bowlers of today, arent as scary as those great west indies bowlers, mainly because they fail to hit the right spot regularly, whereas those west indies bowlers hit the right spot 99% of the time, making it difficult for the batsmen to score. the batsmen didnt know whether to get on the front foot or the back foot and quite often were caught in two minds and this lead to them losing their wickets

I agree with Ian Chappell. The bowlers such as Wasim,Waqar,Walsh,Ambrose,Donald were quality fast bowlers.Today in world cricket such quality fast bowlers are not there or there are very few such bowlers. All these bowlers mentioned above were far more better than the fast bowlers who bowl today.

i think fast bowler knows the trick, now everyone use their arm to jerk the ball and that is not true. But we can believe that now a days millions of millions in stake the person can do that.

right now, there are not so many nice bowlers.
there is only brett lee , who is having speed in bowling.
about swing,line and length.
there is not any bowler , who are perfect like McGrath and other bowlers like in past.
