Between Canada and Mexico, on the North American Continent. ;-) Just kidding!!

No, I hope that in the next twenty years that we can get back some of our reputation that we've lost in the past eight or so. Maybe go back to being a force for good in the world, instead of carrying a big stick, but forgetting the speak softly part. We'll see though.

Well, the question is where will the world be in 20 years? The way it is going now, not a bright future.

The seriousness of your question has me very concerned. If we don't slow the flow on the southern borders this could be a Mexican extension. If we don't enforce the laws and just sit around making up new ones we will be living in anarchy. I think the primarily two party system is taking good ideas from both parties and squashing them for the sake of party pride. What is this really accomplishing. I fell your pain and fear for my safety and the safety of our great nation.

Still recouping from the mess we are in, now. Unfortunately.
It is my hope we will elect good, honest representatives to do the work of the American people - Elected officials who continue to honor our Constitution, and the Rights of all Americans! And... become more fully invested in America; our goals, our dreams of a better world, and more equality amongst the people NOT just amongst the wealthy.

I usually disagree with that Dead Marxist guy, but I really would like to see a Mars colony.

Seriously though, it really depends on the outcome of the next election in my opinion.

Barring some major social upheaval, probably about where we are now. Things will probably move a lot faster because technology will have made things even more (?) convenient, and we may have had a big war by then (which would really throw everything for a loop); otherwise, things will be pretty close to now.

Given the right bright people are President, the US ought to be in far better shape--having politically and financially corrected the banal blundering ineptness of the Bush era.

We might see Cuba shed it's outdated passe "communist" skin. We might see the struggling existance of the internal gasoline fueled combustion engine. We even might find ways to repair our ecology and restore more normal weather patterns, saving trillions of $$$$ in survival efforts.

Hell....we may even see our country's budget well in the "black".

Love the Hybrid Ferrari comment!
For those us who work hard, enjoy life and family, life will be great. For those who sit around complaining about everything, and blaming others for everything, they'll be even more poor and miserable.

An iPhone obsessed country that has nothing better to do than pay millions of dollars to see people who are refered to as numbers play a stupid sport. Drinking their Starbuck' coffe, driving hybrid Feraris.
