As much respect as they hold to mine.

I find it useful to distinguish between two kinds of respect. There is 'small r respect' that I work hard to give to everyone's beliefs/ideas just because they are fellow human beings. Then there is the 'Capital R Respect' that I reserve for those whose beliefs/thoughts I find interesting, well thought out, creative, etc.

I guess in between those two I would have a middle level of respect that I am going to give to those I am in relationships with even if they don't make it to the 'Capital R Respect'.

I believe we all have the right to our own beliefs and disbeliefs. And I'll always respect another persons beliefs. Even though I may not always agree with them.

Well...I believe respecting one's belief is an integral part of being a good person. I may advise, but I do not interfere on purpose. I think it is good to question one's beliefs (without offending them) and it is better if you do not impose your beliefs on someone unless it is a matter of justice.

If they live by their beliefs, and respect the beliefs of others, then I respect their beliefs.

I believe 100% that it is not up to me to tell anyone what they should believe. To each his own. Do I feel like I should go out of my way and do things to placate them because of their beliefs even though I don't believe the same as they do? Nope!! I will respect their space as long as they respect mine.

A lot. Specially in terms of daily life interactions. We need to respect each other. We need to grow the tolerance within the diversed society.

All the way but just short of the boundary where after they may impinge and tread upon my beliefs. To begin with it was less to do with his/her beliefs and more for the person concerned.
