The general rule for quantity of fish is one fish per gallon of water. When I had tanks I generally used less than that and lots of plants and my water stayed sparkley clean and it was easier to care for the tank.
I also always kept about 1 algea eater for every five fish or so.

If you add to many fish, you will mess up your tanks balance and your fish will start to die. Neons are very sensitive, so you'll know if you're having a problem because they will start to die off.

I liked to have two or three small schools of fish, as well as a couple of individuals. Danios school nicely, and rainbows too.

I don't think you have too much more room. Is your algae eating fish a Plecostomus (Pleco)? If it is, I will warn you now, the Common Plecostomus get 2 feet long, and they are always pooping. Give it away. They really don't make the tank that clean for as much waste as they make. I would say, add more 5 more Neons, that is about all you have room for...

25 fish is already a lot, even if they are small ones. i would hold back a while. You have a big tank, but even fish need some space.

I actually wouldnt put anymore fish in your tank. Mollies are very easy to breed, but if your tank starts getting overcrowded then some fish will die and they may begin to fight.

They say you should have 1 inch of fish per gallon of water. You probably have a 10 gallon tank with about 50 inches of fish. What do you think?

relies upon on the peak, width and intensity of the tank no longer purely the tank length which you will talk. Google calculating aquarium volume, there are an incredible sort of websites which will do all the calculating in case you put in the measurements

What EVER you do, don't do 1 inch per gallon. It's stupid and need to be spat on. A 12 inch fish in a 12 gallon tank.. No way. Use your'e on knowledge and judgement.

Sounds little to much to me. 10 to 15 should be the most.

Is it a Siamese algae eater, Pleco, Chiese catfish, oto?
