The Best service is by KSRTC Airavat - Valvo service. Many buss atleast every 15 minutes in the evenings till midnight. Available both via Kolar and Hosur. Ticket cost 500/- Other Private services are costlier costing more than 500/-. You also get 10% concession on booking return journey. On he whole Best service-

Yeah there is a Volvo bus from Chennai to Bangalore at around 5:45pm(however its usually late and leaves arnd 6 or 6:30pm) everyday.It costs Rs.700 for one-way.You can book this bus by going to Shama Travels.However, you're not going to find a seat on that very day you reach there, so its advisable to book a seat beforehand.I will let u know the number of this Travel agency maybe tomorrow.The bus departs from Koyambedu Bus Depotbut just check again to make sure!).Check the site below if in case it is helpful.

why want to go by volvo
Every day you have shathabdi train for the same fair they also provide food and water they will reach either way by four and half hours in volvo they will take six hours to reach
most important is no shathabdi train on tuesdays

In addition to that many private services are available. and good one among them is KPN travels.*
