Climate denotes the average weather conditions over a season or a particular period of time. For example Europe experiences a Cool Temperate Climate whereas India has a Tropical Climate but at the same time certainly New Delhi might get a cooler day than Paris due to some depression or other factors.

Weather is the minute to minute change in atmospheric conditions hence it is highly fluctuating whereas climate always remains the same. In other words weather is temporary but climate is permanent.

Well, weather is a bunch of bizarre events that happens in the atmosphere all over the world. Climate helps you understand the weather in your own part of the world.

Here's a simple explanation of weather: it's what happens outside. The air, or atmosphere, around us behaves in different ways. It changes when it's hot or cold, and when it's wet or dry. It acts differently when it's calm or stormy, and clear or cloudy. The atmosphere reacts to everything from rain to sunshine.
A snow flurry is weather. Thunder and lightning are weather, too. Sometimes the atmosphere behaves violently, and sometimes it's peaceful and quiet. Either way, it's weather.

Meteorologists record the weather every day. The constant recording of weather information helps to determine the climate of an area.
Climate is the average weather in a location over a long period of time. A place that doesn't get much rain over many years would have a dry climate. A place where it stays cold for most of the year would have a cold climate.

Climate is useful for weather forecasting. It also helps determine when the best time would be for farmers to plant their crops. It could even be helpful for you and your family to plan a vacation.

In other words, look out your window any day, any time and you see weather. Look out your window every day for a month or longer, observe the weather each day, and you can determine the climate.

Weather = Short term climate

Climate = Long term weather

Climate usually relates to the extremes of weather in a particular location.

For example, palm trees require a climate which never has a cold extreme that could freeze the roots, as they would die.

Cacti require a climate with infrequent rain and low humidity year-round to thrive outdoors.

These overall characteristics denote climate, while day-to-day changes connote weather.

"State of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, and rain etc "

Climate is
"Prevailing weather conditions of an area"

So basically, climate is a long term expression of weather conditions of a particular geographical area over a period of time......generally this period of time is an year....thus you hear people say..climate is good all through the year....

The weather is the set of all extant phenomena in a given atmosphere at a given time. The term usually refers to the activity of these phenomena over short periods (hours or days), as opposed to the term climate, which refers to the average atmospheric conditions over longer periods of time. When used without qualification, "weather" is understood to be the weather of Earth.

Climate is the average and variations of weather over long periods of time. Climate zones can be defined using parameters such as temperature and rainfall.

Weather is the day-to-day state of the atmosphere, and its short-term (minutes to weeks) variation. Popularly, weather is thought of as the combination of temperature, humidity, precipitation, cloudiness, visibility, and wind. We talk about the weather in terms of "What will it be like today?", "How hot is it right now?", and "When will that storm hit our section of the country?"

Climate is defined as statistical weather information that describes the variation of weather at a given place for a specified interval. In popular usage, it represents the synthesis of weather; more formally it is the weather of a locality averaged over some period (usually 30 years) plus statistics of weather extremes.

We talk about climate change in terms of years, decades or even centuries. Scientists study climate to look for trends or cycles of variability (such as the changes in wind patterns, ocean surface temperatures and precipitation over the equatorial Pacific that result in El Niño and La Niña), and also to place cycles or other phenomena into the bigger picture of possible longer term or more permanent climate changes.
