I know contempt of court is a crime, what is contempt of Congress? At what point do subpoenas become criminal investigation and the Nixon ruling kick in?

Y'know if we join al Quaida boys, he's got us. As charter members they've got priority access to the secret member rolls. Bet that place in Dubai beats out 1st Class anywhere else.

It would take more than Scooter to take out the trash in the White House, as well as some here....
Maybe we should rent a bunch of those huge dumpsters??
A Quit Pro Quo is exactly what this was. The Congress should use its full authority to have those transcripts with Bush & Cheney released. I saw a clip of The Big Man saying (awhile back) he would fire anyone who ever leaked information. But of course he isn't doing that. (Scooter wasn't the leak in case someone doesn't know.) & all of this started because Wilson dared to say something negative about the pres. His revenge will NOT turn out to be sweet. What a lovely democracy.
Oh dear, did I make any typos???

There still seems to be a form of the old adage 'honor among thieves' with the Dubya mind set.

Going way back to Dubya's covered up Texas DUIs, his screwing stockholders when his company was going under, his being 'bought' out of having to fight in a war, etc., someone has always covered his *** for him, hidden the facts, kept him out of jail. Money buys a lot.

But taking care of the servants is a must among this crowd. It's all from the old school European royalty way of doing things. That type of upper crust scum learned quickly that if you don't take care of those willing to bite the bullet for you then the word gets out among the thieves and you quickly discover that you can't buy anyone.

Dubya is just carrying out the long and quite effective practice of crooks covering each other's back.

Since Scooter fell on his sword for the team he will be hired by Haliburton or someone and live happily ever after.

You gotta give Bush credit. That commuting the sentence was pretty sharp. He didn't pardon him for breaking the law and he stays out of jail. Everybody is happy.

I wonder who thought this up for him. And who explained it to him?

ain't it Great, Martha Stewart can do her time even Paris Hilton can do her time but once again the Wusses in the White House can't serve.
They can't do thier military time or thier Prison Time. No wonder they are building an Escape Haven in Dubai.

if i remember correctly, 'scooter' was that muppet character who was always on the go, doing whatever he was told to do. i guess that legacy continues.

his next 3 months will be spent...

-with a wrench and socket set dismantling guantanamo.
-learning more about the victory machine they call 'diebold'.
-running the isolation booth in the veep's office.
