I am not a member of any political party. But I hope Liberals win, they are much more open minded to progress than Conservatives who are stuck on their old and obsolete ideas and are afraid of change.
Best Regards.

If you are envisioning some sort of a debate on issues where straight cold facts are present, republicans would stand no chance on many issues. Something like that would would be too emberassing, so it won't happen. This is why we are in the era of fabricated facts, hiding in secrecy, misguided patriotism, and TV commecials designed for idiots.

Both, we all need a good kick in the ***, or a blow to the head. Neither party has all the answers or solutions, yet we don't seem to be able to respectfully disagree in order to find a common ground we can all live with. It's a sorry state of affairs.

Well, which party do you think would have the motto
"an eye for and eye"
and which party would have the motto
"turn the other cheek"
Are you Old Testament politically or New Testament?
"But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:27-31. NIV)

The liberal would win, because that is when the conservative would realize that those WWE moves don't really work like they do on TV.
just kidding, I don't think party affiliation, would be a deciding factor in who would win a fight.
can you please give an example of how liberals and conservatives differed in their ideals between today and 200 years ago please?

1) seeing that Republicans have only started 2 wars in US history, I wouldn't say that at al.
2) people on the far sides of each party are both cowards, who shout and complain about the state of the union, but never themselves get involved.
3) as always it would be the people in the middle who get ****** over by both of these groups of assholes

I don't think either would win. It would be a battle to the general death from the few who would actually fight, while the rest (on both sides) watched in horror.

I guess we'll find out in November of 2008. Fred Thompson will be leading our side. The one who wins will have to have help from the independants. That's where the strength is.
