A plane going 200+ mph won't stick into a building it only slightly hits. It would spin off and go into other buildings. That being said I would say it more than slightly hit the side of the building.
Their were what 10 or 15 stories above where the plane hit? If the level the plane hits falls, the ones above it fall with all their weight, and thus a cascade effect starts, gravity takes over from there.

Why is this so hard to believe? Have you never taken a Phisics class? Engineering class?

Ha ha, reading some of these responses is hilarious and scary. I fear for this nation that people can't understand basic physics and engineering. A plane hits the top, what took out the base?!! Funny stuff. Perhaps the top falling was too much weight for the structure. The metal didn't break. It melted and buckled. Man, you people are great. Please stay in the trailer parks and away from useful people. HA HA HA HA. The best part is some dude said, it's "logical"!!! Even better!!! Let's deny all facts and call it logical HA HA HA Ha!!!!! Wake up and read a book people!!!!

Apparently that "slight" hit was enough. Gravity did the rest.

Why do you look for some supernatural reason for everything, just to try and slam President Bush?

This is the exact same thing Rosie O'Donnell is trying to put out there. And it needs to be put out there.

But I'm taking it a little into the past. If a bomb in the very basement can't make the whole building collapse, then how can a plane hitting the top of the building make it collapse??? Yes, it took away supports. But they were steel supports, not your everyday supports. Steel doesn't break that easy.

Honestly, the only thing that makes sense is bombs in the building.

Because once a building starts falling, that's a whole lot of weight coming down all at once. Any other conspiracies today? Would you like to know where they're keeping Hitler's brain alive in a jar?
