How do you feel when you watch a programme showing atrocities your countries government has caused to other innocent countries. I am Australian and I can't believe it. I like to think we and our allies are the good guys.

Some of us here are, but too many are not. The American media is very controlled and propagandized right now. With Aussies like FOX's Rupert Murdoch, I'm not surprised if your media is similarly propagandized.

Life and people are never black and white. There are no 'good guys' or 'bad guys' - it is not that simple and anyone who tries to tell it that way is to be viewed with great suspicion. The media is controlled by people who have their own agenda. Unfortunately, we Australians have a long history of blindly going into battle for the British and Americans without asking questions. Look, listen, research and decide for yourself with intelligence and honesty.

Always remember THIS; news of ANY kind, from ANY source- is as much about pushing a point of view or an Agenda- as it is about Informing. Put "aside" what you would "like to think" (& what OTHERS would "like you to think"...)- And ask Questions. If you keep hearing the SAME answers from different sources- then you're probably close to hearing the truth. And all too often, that "truth" is NOT what we like to hear... :(
