As a citizen of the United States, I am shocked and appalled by the recent abuses of power by the executive branch. Has our Republic died under the authority of big government and unlimited power? Can anything be done or is a Revolution the only solution to the violation of our personal liberties?

America only has 2 parties right? republican or democrat? well, that's one more party than dictatorships... ;) but still not good enough for a real democratic country. how can a democratic country only have 2 political parties?

We could elect representatives that live up to the Constitution. Our representative republic is in danger nowadays. We can still take the country back if all of us citizens unite and save our country. I don't want to see our country end up the way the Roman Empire did (I'm not saying we're an empire), so I will also help to give this country back to the people. Thanks and keep on fighting!

Well a lot more people are speaking up, and it is kinda a revolution but its a talking revolution and I believe people want us to get back closer to the Constitution. One thing is for sure, the Republicans and Democrats will not fix it. You are going to have to support someone who actually wants to do the nasty work of fixing it and that means voting for some one in the Independent parties and not believing you are wasting your vote like some say, I vote my convictions and don't look back.

People could get out and vote.
Of course, most nowadays would prefer to sit in their living rooms, watching TV, drinking beer, smoking (whatever) and criticizing the government they elected.

most people don't really care what gov't does until it effects them directly. go ahead and start the revolution. i wouldn't expect much help though. apathy will kill it even if you don't end up in jail though.
