I have a Dell Inspiron 1501- with ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 "display adapter" or video card, AMD Turion TL-56 Duo Core Processor, not sure what my screen size is: i think 15". I am planning on taking the Nvidia GeForce 6800 graphic card off of my old desktop. Of course if I need a new processor I'll just get a whole new laptop so please help!

I don't know if it's possible, but I really want to be able to play Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with several mods (between 5 and 20) on near highest to highest quality with a frame rate as smooth as a baby's butt. Well you have several problems. First off, even if you could somehow get that graphics card into that laptop, it won't play Oblivion on the highest settings, you would probably be looking at medium settings. Your second problem is that there is no way to change the graphics card on a laptop, so you can't get that graphics card in there anyway. The only laptop that I would recommend to play Oblivion with the quality you are describing is one of the Alienwares that has SLI in it. Other than that, laptops are simply not powerful enough to play a game like Oblivion on the highest settings.
