I am most grateful for all of your answers. It is most interesting, in my opinion, that not one even came close to the truths which immediately caused them their assassinations.

There is very, very little that the two had in common. There have been all kinds of theories about conspiracies and spooky coincidences (Lincoln's assassin ran from a theater to a warehouse, Kennedy's ran from a warehouse to a theater, etc. etc.) But as presidents from two very different eras (one born in 1809, the other 108 years later), from two very different socio-economic backgrounds (Lincoln grew up desperately poor while Kennedy grew up in unbelievable wealth), these two men were politically (Lincoln was the first Republican president, Kennedy was a Democrat), educationally (Lincoln had little formal schooling, Kennedy graduated from Harvard), religiously (lincoln had no real religious affiliation, Kennedy was Roman Catholic), very very different men altogether.

Controversial wives, secretaries named Lincoln and Kennedy, a Veep named Johnson with the same amount of letters in their names, an assassin with three names, one man's assasin hid in a warehouse and was captured in a theater, one assasin struck in a theater and was killed in a warehouse, one President was killed in Ford's Theater the other killed in a Ford Lincoln, both President's had a son who died in the White House, both were fond of roast turkey and cranberry sauce and therefore encouraged celebrating Thanksgiving.
