This question just made me die a little inside...j/k
Hmm, it does make the small stuff seem silly. For example, arguing over a small detail will a loved one. Or even focusing too much on money rather than the world around you.
I feel that if you do something truly great, then it wont seem so silly. You can pass the outcome of your actions on to others in the future, no matter how small. It is makes it a better place, then it is good.

No. Heck...if that were true I would just kill myself now knowing what I make won't make difference...as a matter fact, FORGET humanity! We don't need it as everything we do will be just for nothing..just being sarcastic but, if everyone thought that way than what WOULD be the purpose of living?..Might as well enjoy the ride as long as it lasts right? Besides, what people do can change future generations for the better. Sure be nice if their were an after life...but who knows.

Yes, people do die at the end..however, one might live as long as 105-110 years old...so, I would think you would want to live your life to the fullest. After all, 105 years is a long time to live and why would you want to spend your life on worthless crap, perhaps doing drugs etc or doing something against the law so you can spend the rest of your life in a cell ...naw, it's better to do something worthwhile with yourself - regardless of whether or not you will die at the end....

Not to me. Do all you can to be happy and have a good life. Then you die but that is after you have enjoyed it. Ah, I don't know...I used to think the same thing, about everything being pointless because you only die in the end.

lol...for a period of time when i was younger i had stopped eating because i learned i was going to die. yep, i've always thought a little different.
yes, some things just seem silly to worry about. but, i usually don't realize it until it's over. if everyone thought of this way then we would be much more happier. we wouldn't feel like we are being judged by others.

No!
Everything we do is crucially important because we will die in the end! The only part of us that will be here when we're gone, is the results of our actions, so it's important our actions are valuable to others!

If I share a religion containing answer my question will get deleted so I'll just say:
That's why it's important to live in the moment.

No it seems silly because we rarely judge someones work untill they are dead, In their death we can say things about someone's beliefs or abilities without having to answer without having to expose ourselves.....think about it

This is your only chance at this particular life. Make the most of it. What you do here on earth will be reflected in who you are in heaven.
