well if u have windows u can go to ur start menu.. then accessories.. then system tools.. and then click on character map and it has that letter with symbol plus much more. becuase if ur on a labtop u cnt use those ALT codes and everything

Open your word processing program (like WordPerfect or Microsoft Word), go to Insert on the top toolbar, then go to symbols and look for the n ~ symbol. Then, copy it and paste it wherever you want it to go. It works if you don't have a Spanish keyboard ;)

Type the Alt. key and hold it down while typing the numbers "164."
For the capital Ñ, just type "165" instead.

You can go to START>SEARCH>CHARACTER MAP, find it in your search results. It is a windows program that has a ton of characters and symbals that you can cut and paste, or for every character, there is a key command shown to access every character when ever you want to use it.

you hold down the alt. button and type in the numbers 164, that will give you the lower case, and alt. 165 will give you the uppercase.
