Okay folks... hold the tomatoes!!! I'm just "yanking your chains"! My point is that P&S has evolved into something that really has nothing to do with Polls and Surveys. It about the ridiculous and outlandish. Anyway... I'm just kidding, please feel free to ask any "stupid" question you like because you're right - that's what P&S is all about!

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand WHY you want to stop these questions. I realize they're not on a par with "the meaning of life" discussions, but there's no harm (or meaness) in them. (God knows there's enough of THAT, in other catagories; around Y/Answers). This section IS "Polls & Surveys" after all... Y/Answers has about a billion catagories & subcatagories (and probably sub subcatagories.) Many of the other sites DO carry "meaning of life" Q&A. What do you feel a proper question for Polls & Surveys SHOULD be? I really want to know, because I've enjoyed (in the brief time I've been following your Q&As) the things you've had to say.(you could email me?) Thx.

Those are a piece of cake, Aunt Bee.
Try visiting the performing arts area, where every other question is either "How can I become a Broadway star?" or "How do I stop being nervous?" or "How do I play an F chord on the guitar if I don't read sheet music or chord symbols?"
It gets old quickly.

If you are talking bout questions that contain the words "What's your favorite" in them, ummm - well, uhhh you just asked another one!
Oh, and by the way, Who's this Peter that you are carrying on about and are these types of confessions really appropriate for a family board?

G'day!
Heres some easy ways to stop the 'Whats your favourite...' question.
1) Put some ear-muffs on.
2) Ignore the person
3) Get a gun license... (You know what to do next ;) )
4) Kick and scream like a baby saying 'I WANT MY MUMMY' and then the person will probably get scared and back away.
