How grateful I am to live in America! I have enjoyed the freedoms our nation provides for many years. I am a Gramma you see. I was a child during World War II - and I saw the awful price our men paid to keep us free. Since then there have been other wars, and the cost of freedom, in the loss of many lives, has been immense, almost immeasurable.

Which generation is the greatest? All of them. Each generation has to make choices which will affect succeeding generations. Many good and Godly men and women make up each generation, and their Godliness has been the very quality that has held this nation firm and steady.

Patriotism seemed to be more important in the days when I was young. "By dawn's early light" was on everyone's lips then. We saluted the flag and we sang our national anthem with our hand over our heart. This was a way of saying that we loved our flag and what it represented. I wonder how many do this today.

I still salute our flag, and sing our national anthem with my hand over my heart......it is the right thing to do as we pledge our loyalty to the American way. It is an issue of the heart, and I'll do my part to set a good example to the young folks.

How I thank God each day for the freedoms we have in the United States, and for the rich heritage of the brave military and patriots who went before us. May God Almighty be praised as we celebrate once again our nation's birthday.

I'm proud to be an American because I live in a land where I salute our flag and know what it means. I thank God for all that He does for me daily and because of this, I’ll do my part, even if it is by dawn’s early light, because I know the cost of freedom--freedom of thought, freedom of voice, freedom of religion and freedom of choice. When I ponder the greatest generation, the answer won’t really matter because I have the freedom to agree or disagree with what you say or think. (Break it up or continue on….it may not be great but it can be done)

Every time I salute our flag, I wonder what it means to be an American and I think of the greatest generation of Americans, not those soldiers who stood in victory at the dawn's early light, who sacrificed their lives for America's freedom, but our own generation, which knows that the cost of freedom is the sacrifice of liberty. I thank God for President Bush and his sacrifices for America's freedom and I'll do my part to see that Republicans continue to protect America from Democrats and the terrorists.

1. The greatest generation was the first.
2. The cost of freedom is confused with the cost of oil.
3. By dawn's early light, I have the freedom to still be asleep!
4. I'll do my part by exercising my rights, including free speech and separation of church and state.
5. I salute our flag in the manner that other countries' people salute our flag: standing with respect, but no hand over the heart.
6. I thank God for...this has nothing to do with America, technically. We are NOT a Christian nation, and we DO have separation of church and state.

stephanie walked into the room and tripped over onto the floor while her boobs fell out of her halter neck top, just then she noticed the camera. "Am i on candid camera? " she asked. "first i need to vomit. Then let's talk." said James. Stephanie then started yelling at James and James yelled back even louder just as Michal shrieked "would it be possible to ......STOP SHOUTING?!" but just as he finished, James came up with a plan to film a candid camera scene and asked stephanie what she thought. "All in all not a bad system" she replied. "But im fairly certain that is illegal in this country". "no its not", replied michael. "have you seen the candid camera rules?". "no" replied stephanie. "well READ THE RULES, you moron" replied michael.
