Yes, I think we will have another attack, probably before the elections. If people think back about the Al Queda "primer" we all got after 9/11 one of the main points was that they take an average of 6 years to plan and execute large scale attacks. We already know they are here in the United States, more than a few have been caught crossing the border. How many didn't they catch?
Yesterday I was watching a special report on the car bomb scare in London and a panel of terror experts were talking about the smaller Al Queda wanna-be groups who they know are present here in the States. They won't do the large amount of damage an Al Queda sponsored attack would do, but we may be dealing with both in the very near future.
Their guesses were bio terrorism and/or suitcase nukes. Those who insist on believing the b.s. from the White House that while we are fighting them there they won't come here are those who love to stick their head in the sand and hope no one kicks them in the rear end.

fact is congress hasn't secured the borders! When they get off their *** and give Bush a bill to sign, then we'll get border security. As for another attack, sure, could happen tomorrow or 10 years from now! our 1st attack was in 93 and 8 years later we had 9/11. I believe whole heartedly the terrorist are waiting for the 2008 out come....And if Hillary or Obama win.... We will be hit and hit hard within 6 months. then they'll go on the attack, not to retaliate, but blame G.W. Bush.

Yes it is enivitable.
Reading some of the answers some people believe that Bush made it enivitable. It was enivitable anyways. Do you really think if we didnt go into Iraq there wouldnt be another attack?

sadly I think it is a forgone conclusion that its not if the word is WHEN..............
Have no wish for it to happen but trust me these nutters are just that NUTTERS and we [be we Brits or Americans] can NOT really understand the mental issue of a person or a country or a religion that actually sees the strapping of a bomb to a person as a way forward.........
Look at what has just happened in the UK these pieces of **** where DOCTORS for Christs sake and they are all linked in with the bombs be they failed or not.............so maybe the doc you saw last week at the same time was planning the death of as many people as they could get at one time
I would not so much worry about the ones getting in as the ones ALREADY here..............sleeper cells are their way of life...get here play the USA game for a while and all the time plan away.............
Brit living in the USA worried poop less about my family flying in from the UK to the USA later this year..............

Yes, it is inevitable. Bush has assured that it will happen many more times. He has created hate for the USA world wide and especially in Iraq and the Middle East. These people are patient and will enact their revenge on us even if it takes years to do so. We have destroyed Iraq and killed 3/4 million men, women and children. They will not forget this.

It's just a matter of time. We've become one of the most hated countries in the world.
We couldn't stop a guy with TB from coming across the border let alone stop a terrorist attack.

I believe president Bush said it best. We have to be right 100% of the time in stopping and preventing terrorist attacks. The terrorists on the other hand only have to be right 1% of the time to be successful. So yes, I believe it's only a matter of time. The only question is what you're willing to do about it? Get them BEFORE they get us? Or wait for another attack AND THEN go after those you believe are responsible?

The government has already told us we are going to have another attack this summer, so it seems they to get getting info directly from the terrorists themselves.
The only question is will they get around to protecting us this time.

It is avoidable... definitely avoidable... it is the 'security' approach that will never work. the US should change the way it behaves but nobody seems to be interested in new approaches
The most secure door is the one that does not have to be shut.

As long as we keep occupying Iraq and keep policing the world, another attack is very highly likely.
