Total number of chocolates=180
6 chopcolates can have 200 cal
Hence, 1 chocolate can have-200/6 cal
Again, 180 chocolates can have= 180 x 200 / 6
= 30 x 200
= 6000 cal Ans

An easy way to figure this out is to figure out how many groups of 6 are in the box. There would be 180/6 = 30 groups of 6. Each of them are 200 calories. So that's 30*200 = 6000 calories. You probably would have been happier not knowing :-)

180/6 = 30
There are 30 lots of 6 pieces
1 lot of 6 pieces hass 200 Calories
30 lots of 6 pieces has 200*30=6000 Calories

200 cal / 6 pieces = x cal / 180 pieces

Multiply both sides by 180

(200 * 180) / 6 = x

x = 6000 cal

ie stay away from them if you're on a diet!

Two ways….

Ratio
x/180 = 200/6
Solving for x by multiplying both sides by 180
x=6000

Substitution.
Let c = the number of calories per 1
6c=200
c= 200/6

The calories in 180 of the little suckers would be 180c
(180) x (200/6) = 36000/6 = 6000

Total / (group of 6) * 200 per group

180 pieces / 6 pieces in a group = 30 groups of 6 per group
30 groups * 200 cal per group = 6,000 cal

note
180 pieces of chocolate in the container
and each piece is approx .15 oz
means the container has about 27.8 oz's in it
1.5 oz has about 220 calories
which means there are 6000 calories in the container.
